Greetings Taxi lovers. This post is unrelated to becoming a taxi driver but it is important post non the less!
My brother (pictured) is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa in June 2010 to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society Charity. Obviously Alzheimer's effects a lot of people and will effect a lot of us as we journey through our lives. This is just a guess on my part but i bet most of us know someone with Alzheimer's disease? For my brother Mark and me it is out Grandmother who is a sufferer. We have a vested interest in raising money for the charity... but as we all live to be older, i think we should all take an interest in the important work the Alzheimer's society does, and if we can afford it, make a donation.
I am going to post a link to my brothers fund-raising page and his contact info, all donations and money raised is handled by justgiving.com on behalf of the Alzheimer's Society. Just Giving have facilitated over 8 million people in raising £508 Million for 7919 charities. Feel free to check out their website; research Just Giving, the Alzheimer's society, and the Kilimanjaro Treck on google - never donate blindly to anyone online - be sure they are genuine by doing your research!.
If you have any querys about the fundraising, the treck or the Alzheimer's Society You can contact Mark in the following ways:
